From the San Jose airport
- Drive to Sardinal cross road. Driving time 40 minutes
- Drive through Sardinal and Guacimal villages for 17 kmls.
- Take the dirty road for 17 more kmls to get to Santa Elena town. Driving time 1 hour
- Follow our road signs to get to Monteverde Rustic Lodge

Take the #1 road heading Puntarenas. Driving time 2 hours.
From Liberia Airport
- Drive 10 minutes on the way to Liberia town and catch the #1 road.
- As soon as you take #1 drive to Cañas town. Driving time 1.5 aprox. .
- From Cañas, take the detour to Tilarán town. Drive 35 minutes.
- In Tilarán downtown look for the road sign to Monteverde.
- From Tilarán to Monteverde takes about 2 hours driving
